This is a Drawing. It was designed by Felice Giani. It is dated 1811 and we acquired it in 1901. Its medium is pen and brown ink, brush and bistre wash over traces of black chalk on laid paper. It is a part of the Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design department.

Lower left, buildings along the river Reno, Bologna, inscribed below: fabriche sul Reno Bologna. In the lower corner: 64. At lower center, Loggia della Marcanzia, Bologna, inscribed below: la Mercanzia Gotico belisimo Bologna. At upper right, inscribed below kneeling angel: Bologa monumento del quattro cento. In the upper right corner "126". Inscribed below male figure with sword: Bologna monumento del quat° cen.
