This is a Fragments. It is dated 17th–early 18th century and we acquired it in 1902. Its medium is silk, metallic thread (narrow strips of gold and silver metallic foil wound onto silk core) and its technique is 7&1 satin patterned by weft floats and discontinuous supplementary wefts. It is a part of the Textiles department.
