Pleated Fan And Case (France)

This is a Pleated fan and case. It was painted by J. Creven and manufactured by Ernest Kees Fabrique d'Eventail. It is dated late 19th–early 20th century and we acquired it in 1952. Its medium is painted and embroidered silk leaf, pierced, engraved and gilded horn sticks. It is a part of the Textiles department.
