Soup Plate Plate

This is a plate. It was manufactured by Chantilly Porcelain Manufactory. It is dated ca. 1770 and we acquired it in 1957. Its medium is soft paste porcelain, vitreous enamel. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

It is credited Museum purchase through gift of Georgiana L. McClellan.

H x diam.: 3.7 x 20 cm (1 7/16 x 7 7/8 in.)

Underside: [1] a hunting horn, painted in underglaze blue (manufactory mark)
