Album of pressed flower pictures. Large quarto, title page and fifteen others of scenes and still-life arrangements composed of pressed flowers and leaves; backgrounds of scenes painted in watercolors. Scenes framed in embossed gold paper. Title on spine.

This album is pressed flowers in purple leather binding studded with mother-of-pearl. Its dimensions are: Album: 43.5 x 31.5 cm (17 1/8 x 12 3/8 in.) Page: 42.6 x 30.5 cm (16 3/4 x 12 in.).

This album is from Mexico and dated ca. 1872.

Gift of Hamill and Barker. This object came to our collection as a Gift, in 1960.
