Sampler

This is a Sampler. It was embroidered by Mary Corker. It is dated 1798 and we acquired it in 1976. Its medium is silk embroidery, wool foundation and its technique is counted cross, stem and satin stitches on plain weave foundation. It is a part of the Textiles department.
