Sampler (Mexico)

This is a Sampler. It was embroidered by Lus L. Calderon. It is dated ca. 1830 and we acquired it in 1941. Its medium is silk and cotton embroidery, linen foundation and its technique is satin, stem and eyelet stitches on plain weave. It is a part of the Textiles department.
