Sampler (Spain)

This is a Sampler. It was embroidered by Estefana del Sol. It is dated 1810 and we acquired it in 1941. Its medium is silk embroidery, linen foundation and its technique is double running, counted satin, hem, fishbone and cross stitches on plain weave. It is a part of the Textiles department.
