We acquired this object in 1941
Alphabets, numerals, "Agnes Hodge, February the 5 1723-4 in the 9th year of my age" and the Lord's Prayer surrounded by a floral frame.
This sampler is medium: silk embroidery, linen foundation technique: cross, eyelet, and shaded satin stitches on plain weave. Its dimensions are: H x W: 32.1 x 22.9 cm (12 5/8 x 9 in.).
This sampler is from United Kingdom and dated 1723–24
