Pleated Fan And Case

This is a Pleated fan and case. It is dated late 19th century and we acquired it in 1942. Its medium is parchment leaf with lithograph hand-colored in gouache, mother-of-pearl sticks carved à jour, brilliant set in pin, lacquered wood case inlaid with metal, lined with silk. It is a part of the Textiles department.
