Snail Serving Spoon

This is a serving spoon. It was manufactured by Georg Jensen Sølvsmedie. It is dated designed 1908, produced ca. 1915–27 and we acquired it in 1944. Its medium is silver. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

It is credited Gift of Mrs. Neville J. Booker.

Its dimensions are

L x W x D: 19.6 x 5.8 x 2.5 cm (7 11/16 x 2 5/16 x 1 in.)

It has the following markings

On reverse of stem: embossed at handle join: "50" printed above "GEORG JENSEN" stamped inside a cicular mark with "DENMARK STERLING" printed below.
