This is a sidewall. It was distributed by Nancy McClelland, Inc.. It is dated 1920 and we acquired it in 1945. Its medium is block-printed paper. It is a part of the Wallcoverings department.

The perfect symmetry of this design, along with the floral garlands and carved statues, have strong ties to the past, while the manicured shrubs, large central fountain, and widely spaced elements revealing expanses of metallic gold ground, all reflect the new modern movement.

This object was donated by Nancy McClelland. It is credited Gift of Nancy McClelland.
