Ornament (Austria)

This is a Ornament. It was embroidered by Karoline Berger and student at Kunstgewerbeschule. It is dated ca. 1900 and we acquired it in 1981. Its medium is metal and silk-wrapped metal and its technique is needle lace, looping (buttonholing) over a metal-wrapped thread. It is a part of the Textiles department.
