Brisé Fan

This is a Brisé fan. It is dated 19th century and we acquired it in 1990. Its medium is carved and drilled horn sticks with applied metal spangles, mother-of-pearl washer at rivet, cast metal bail, silk tassel and ribbon. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Sheila Bruce. It is credited Gift of Sheila Bruce.
