Ribbon And Sample, Labyrinths

This is a Ribbon and sample. It was designed by Benjamin E. Nicholson and produced by RVL Avery Denison. We acquired it in 2004. Its medium is 100% polyester and its technique is woven with heat-cut edges (the mill's term for the structure is damask, but actually consists of a black ground warp and two pattern weft colors, both in satin). It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Laura Foster Nicholson.
