No. 132 Champagne Flute

This is a champagne flute. It was designed by Professor Josef Storck and manufactured by J. & L. Lobmeyr GmbH and Meyr's Neffen, Adolf.

This object is not part of the Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. It has been able to spend time at the museum on loan from J. & L. Lobmeyr GmbH.

It is dated 1870 and we acquired it in 2009. Its medium is mouth-blown crystal, facet-cut and polished. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

It is credited Museum purchase through gift of Dale and Doug Anderson, Anonymous Donor, Arthur Liu, and Prairie Pictures, Inc. and from General Acquisitions Endowment Fund.
