What is this?

Book of 153 pages of ornamental monogrames and some medallions. In addition, 16 plates of "Supports and Chimiera" for ornaments on armor: the 17th plate is bound in as a frontispiece. The "table" follows with the Forward placed last.

This is a book from France. It is dated 1685 and we acquired it in 1962. Gift of Hamill and Barker.
