Synapse was founded by four engineers in Seattle in 2002 as a company dedicated to “solving difficult engineering challenges.” In 2005, they began to develop software. In its fifteen year history, Synapse’s scope has gradually widened as they tackle a variety of engineering issues—from the development of new products to mapping user experiences. Bloomberg highlights the variety of work the company does, noting their involvement with “strategic planning, architecture development, proof of concept, product prototyping, manufacturing readiness, critical design solution, and applied research…program management, electrical engineering, RF engineering, mechanical engineering, systems engineering,... more.
