An outdoor scene where we find a woman and a man underneath a tree. The man, who is Samson, is laying his head in a woman's lap with his kness resting across her knees. He is holding an object in his left hand which is the jawbone of an ass. The woman, Delilah, is sitting with a look of concentration on her face while cutting Samson's hair. Above the figures is a paper sign with the monogram of Aldegrever and the date of 1528 nailed to the tree. To the left of the tree, there is another tree in the background.
