Fashion designer Txell Miras is based in Barcelona. She received a fine arts degree from the University of Barcelona, then studied fashion design at the Llotja Arts School of Barcelona, and graduated with an MA from Milan’s Domus Academy. There, Txell studied under Neil Barrett, the designer who created Prada for Men. In 2004, she launched her own label. As a former ballet dancer, Txell looks at fashion with the eye of a dancer, being a former ballet dancer herself, her clothes move with the human body, but they also have somewhat of a conceptual aspect referencing art, literature, music and cinema.
