Kornerup grew up in Stockholm and learned to weave from her mother. She trained at Konstfackskolan, the Textile Institute Boras, and Hogra Art and skolan. She married Danish architect Jorgen K. Ebbe and settled in Denmark. In 1951, she established her own workshop in Charlottenlund. Kornerup taught many students throughout her life and traveled around the world, visiting France, Switzerland, Italy, Uzbekistan, Iran and Iraq, and the United States. Her themes include views of nature, everyday life, children playing, and more imaginative scenes.

We have one object that Ann-Mari Kornerup has been involved with.
