This is a chair. It was designed by Verner Panton and manufactured by A. Sommer and Gebrüder (Brothers) Thonet. It is dated Designed 1956, manufactured 1966 and we acquired it in 2017. Its medium is laminated, molded and stained plywood. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was purchased from Galerie Vivid and fund: General Acquisitions Endowment. It is credited Museum purchase from General Acquisitions Endowment Fund.
