Band Fragment, 4th–5th century

This is a Band fragment. It is dated 4th–5th century and we acquired it in 1921. Its medium is s-spun undyed linen weft, s-spun undyed wool warp and weft and its technique is slit tapestry weave. It is a part of the Textiles department.
