Patchwork Quilt Top, Mariner's Compass, 1845

This is a Patchwork quilt top. It was made by Lacy Jones. It is dated 1845 and we acquired it in 1972. Its medium is cotton and its technique is pieced and sewn patchwork of plain and roller-printed fabrics. It is a part of the Textiles Department department.
