Sampler (Mexico), ca. 1830

This is a Sampler. It is dated ca. 1830 and we acquired it in 1974. Its medium is cotton, linen and its technique is embroidery, needle lace, cut work on plain weave foundation. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Unknown, Myra Mathers, Mrs. John L. Handy Jr. and Mrs. Richard S. Koehne. It is credited Gift of Anonymous Donor from the Fraser/Martin Collection.
