Hand-woven Sample (USA)

This is a Hand-woven sample. It was designed by Anni Albers and woven by Anni Albers. It is dated ca. 1945 and we acquired it in 1948. Its medium is cotton, linen, metallic and its technique is bands of plain weave alternating with bands of gauze weave. It is a part of the Textiles department.
