Plate Plate

This is a plate. It was designed by Edward Colonna and manufactured by Gerard, Dufraisseix, and Abbot, Limoges and made for Samuel Bing and retailed by L'Art Nouveau. It is dated 1899–1900 and we acquired it in 1989. Its medium is porcelain. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

It is credited Museum purchase from General Acquisition Endowment.

H x diam.: 2.2 × 24.4 cm (7/8 × 9 5/8 in.)

It has the following markings

On underside of dish (a): [1] "l'Art / Nouveau / Paris", stamped in green underglaze (retailer logo)
