Textile (Italy)

This is a Textile. We acquired it in 1991. Its medium is polyester and its technique is plain weave with supplementary warps. the fabric was woven with the striped supplementary warps attached to the plain weave in areas in a 4&1 satin weave and left floating in the back. the floats were cut off and the fabric was embossed to create the fin. It is a part of the Textiles Department department.
