Textile (France), 1783–89

This is a Textile. It was company: Oberkampf & Cie.. It is dated 1783–89 and we acquired it in 1994. Its medium is cotton and its technique is printed by engraved copper plate on plain weave (note that the printing plate was wider than the fabric. the printing goes over the selvedge at the right.). It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Mr. Martin Kamer and Martin Kamer. It is credited Gift of Martin Kamer.
