Staircase Model (France), ca. 1820–40

This is a Staircase model. It is dated ca. 1820–40 and we acquired it in 2007. Its medium is planed, joined, and veneered pearwood, walnut. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This style was popularized by the important master of compagnonnage, Agricole Perdiguier.
