Tablecloth, Milky Way, 1939

This is a Tablecloth.

This object is not part of the Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. It was able to spend time at the museum on loan from Virginia Bayer as part of Tablescapes: Designs for Dining.

It is dated 1939. Its medium is cotton.

This tablecloth came in a variety of colors: sky blue, deep pink, coral, and turquoise with white stars, again showing Mergentime’s love for a vibrant and elegant table.
