Demi-parure, 1920s

This is a Demi-parure. It was designed by Meta K. Overbeck and produced by Tiffany and Co. and the design director was Louis Comfort Tiffany.

This object is not part of the Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. It was able to spend time at the museum on loan from Neil Lane Collection as part of The Jazz Age: American Style in the 1920s.

It is dated 1920s. Its medium is 18k gold, cabochon sapphire, demantoid garnet, faceted sapphires and enamel.

Meta Overbeck supervised the art jewelry department of Tiffany & Co. beginning in 1914.
