This band is edged by narrow borders of similar design. Reproduced from old paper formerly on the walls of the drawing room in the Jumel Mansion in New York, NY. Two alternating medallions enclosed in Rococo scrolls of acanthus leaves. Larger medallion depicts a country scene: a team of four horses with driver on back of the left side horse, is pulling a wagon filled with men, women and children. The smaller medallion shows a large castle built on high bluffs. The original paper came from the Dunham Tavern, Cleveland, Ohio. Printed on margin: "Dunham Tavern, 7664, Strahan, Made in U.S.A."

This pattern is inspired from an early 18th century chintz printed in India and so is a typical Queen Anne design. Small clusters of gay flowers, all on a small scale, are scattered over the entire surface. Each floral piece has a pin-pointed area immediately around it, intervening space is plain. It is definitely a design popular in England in 1700-15 and the original chintz probably came from the Coromandel coast. Printed on reverse: Birge, Waterfast, 2932A, Sidewall, Glaze-tek".

Design composed of two medallions which alternate. The larger one is oval in shape with a landscape. A cavalier is reclining under a tree while a woman carrying a child is standing nearby. The frame is elaborate with interlacing scrolls and festoons of flowers. The smaller medallion is irregular in shape and similarly framed. It too is a landscape with man and child seated on a bank before an old building. To the right is a vertical band running the entire length of the paper with a strap-work design. Reproduction of old wallpaper hung in 1840 in the old Noyes House at Newbury, Massachusetts. Printed on reverse: "No 292 CB". Printed in orange, green, tans and gray on putty field.
