Rectangular upholstered back; posts and rails fully carved with rocaille ornament. Straight padded arms on curved, carved stumps. Serpentine front rail, carved similar to back. Front rail merges into cabriole gadrooned and carved front legs. Cabriole rear legs. Upholstered seat and back (yellowish-green, with flowerlike motif).

Square seat with slit cut in top rear; apron with curved bottom edges incorporating notch. Four legs ending in eight-sided bun feet. Replacement cushions of dark brown leather with leather lanyards at corners; rectangular back cushion tied to horizontal elements of chair frame; square seat cushion rests on seat, multiple lanyards at each corner hanging to floor.

A) Upholstered, laminated rosewood back, topped by carved flowers-and-fruit garland. Back frame formed of inverted U-shaped scroll at top and serpentine section at bottom. Serpentine arms join back frame with scroll. Upholstered spring seat on rosewood frame; serpentine seat front with carved flowers in center and at join of arms and forelegs. Cabriole forelegs with carved acanthus leaf between small scrolls on foot; reverse curve back back legs; casters. B) The same.

With slant front upper desk portion, with flame-grained matched mahogany veneers below a raised gilt-metal gallery with brass knop finials that elevates on racheted supports; the interior with contrasting maple writing surface and burl veneers and drawer fronts, with ormolu borders and document drawer fronts, the sides of the top with eagle and lyre mounts, resting on a cabinet base with matched flame-grained veneered doors with lyre form mounts at the centers of the front and sunburst on centers of the sides, trophy mounts on upper and acorn mounts on lower corners, the interior with shelves, on square bracket feet below a band of branded leaf-tip decoration.

Cabinet on stand with floral marquetry veneer. Cabinet fronted by two large doors with brass lock plates that open to reveal twelve small interior drawers, each with brass pull, and one cupboard door with brass lock plate, all veneered with floral marquetry. Long narrow drawer in cornice molding on top. Stand has long narrow drawer with two brass pulls and one lock plate, supported by six scrolled legs with curved stretchers and bun feet with metal casters.

This set of chairs (2) consists of two antique Aubusson tapestry covered armchairs of the Louis XV period. The armchairs' curved backs and seats are upholstered in reddish-blue floral fabric. The wooden armrails are upholstered on their upper side. The fabric is attached via metallic buttons. The frontal part of the seat bottom is decorated in a wood, in a carved floral motif.
