Patchwork cover made from a variety of woven fabrics and ribbons. Diamond shape in the center with a triangle on each side to form a central square surrounded by twelve squares plus an outer border. Each square contains an embroidered naturalistic flower.

Unlined bed cover made up of two lengths of printed fabric. Pattern composed of two stripes: the wider with an urn of flowers on a blue background. 18.5cm. wide and the other with a monkey giving another monkey a haircut alternating with a monkey playing a horn seated under a flowering plant. 9.5cm. wide. Two groups of stripes are half dropped and with an additional wide stripe fill full width of fabric. Unit of repeat: 36.5 cm. high x 28 cm. (11") wide.

Cover, printed on one side only, with all-over geometric diaper pattern constructed on circular lines. Highly stylized flowers in olive-green with dark red details are encircled by pale blue-green vines on darker blue-green ground.

Obverse is comprised of two pieces of toile. The design is known as The Victory of Washington or The Apotheosis of Franklin. Reverse is made of three pieces of toile depicting rural festivities, including a maypole dance. Bound on the edges with white tape.

White quilted and stuffed bed cover with a scrolling vine border on two sides and bottom. The center has an oval medallion with a pitcher holding a bouquet of flowers. Surrounding the medallion are leaf shapes and scissors on the sides, a rooster at top, and bottom a heart crossed by arrows superimposed by the inscription "Harriet A. Knapp 1857" in yellow silk. Corners of the field are filled with fan-like medallions and a spray of grapes being eaten by a bird. Large eagle in center of the border at bottom. Running stitches for embroidery and double running stitches for inscription. Narrow cotton binding on outer edge.

Valance resist printed in two shades of blue in a design of undulating branches with large cup-shaped blossoms and curling leaves with pendant fruit. Three points on lower border. Edged with cotton tape, white with a narrow border of blue on either edge. Backed with sateen.

Large complete coverlet in navy blue wool and white cotton with two central wreaths enclosing an eight-pointed star. Surrounding these are an array of floral and bird motifs including eagles with wings spread and clutching banners, scrolling acanthus leaves, a small building with cupola, and pairs of reindeer. Date on coverlet appears to read 1855.

White-on-white bedcover with a wide border on four sides patterned by twisting ribbons and flowers. Center circular medallion with eight radiating points. The spaces between the points are filled with pairs of doves. The outer edge of the medallion is completed by a curving vine. The full medallion fills the entire field.

Long valance-shaped fragment of coarse cotton. Design is incomplete, but shows a large floral motif and foliage. Background is blue and the design is reserved in white with blue accents and interior lines. Parts of the foliage are outlined in small white dots, and larger leaves contain interior decoration of white dots. The fragment might be the lining of a valance and is pieced with lighter shades of the same design to make a scalloped shape.
