Birdcage (a) of wooden slats, dowels and metal wire in the form of a church with peaked roof; walls of clerestory-like gothic style arches; at one end a rectangular bell tower with three large, circular, painted clock faces, and door with inverted heart-shape perforation. Wood and sheet metal under tray (b) pulls out at left side. Small loop handle of brass on roof.

Back legs flat-sided, front legs flat excepting rounded front face. Legs curve outward toward bottom, and back legs inclue toward each other at bottom. Back side corner posts terminate at top in an elementary volute form. Flat top rail bowed toward back, slightly arched, with rectangular panel of inset veneer surrounded by beading. Horizontal splat is composed of a small oblong shape faced with veneer, flanked on either side by horizontal coupled C-scrolls deeply carved with foliage, terminating in volutes. Double-curved arms, resting on in-curved supports of one piece with front leg. Seat flares from back to front, with straight edges.

Upholstered armchair with shaped back, finished in a straight line leading down over two symmetrical curvatures in the back's frame. Similar curvatures lead from each armrest to the chair's seat. Constructed of stack-laminated wood planks, carved and worked into a smooth body of organic form, bulbous on sides and curving in at center (roughly peanut-shaped); bisected along horizontal axis where lid, hinged at back, meets bottom of chest; bottom flows into base formed as tapering cylinder with domed foot; the lid with three up-curved projections at top center (central projection serves as grip to raise lid). Interior fitted with removable wooden housing for two stereo components: turntable on left, stereo/radio receiver on right; inset pierced with rows of circular holes in front of and behind receiver; black leather strap in center, one end attached to cavity of lid, the other attached to stereo housing.
