This set of side chairs has contour-edged and gilded frames. The chairs have arched back rails, incurved side rails, and gently pointed front feet that rest on supports. The rear legs are square. Both chairs have identical needlepoint backs in multicolor pastel showing round flowers, vines, and leaves. The designs are on ivory ground. The chairs form a set with 1969-71-1,2.

Side chair with rounded back rail, upholstered yellow seat, and rounded seat frame. Four tapered legs, of which frontal legs emulate natural forms in engraving at top. Floral and leaf-like motif on the seat back.

Chair consists of mahogany frame with thick headpiece that culminates at a central point. Tapered front and back legs. Front legs terminate in ball feet. Seat frame curves outwards. Upholstery on chair back and seat characterized by a buttoned frame. "N"-like medallion in needlepoint embroidered into upholstery.

Front legs straight, turned, diminishing toward foot, with ten channels; back legs rectangular in section, curved, with three channels on each face - back curved, styles terminating in volute with rosette, with turned cresting partly channeled spirally - large upper rail in back, with two drapery festoons, resting on arcade of four colonnettes with small rail below. Painted cream and green.
