Flat scrolled and molded front legs terminate in bun feet. Flat front stretcher of pierced volutes and scrolls below straight molded seat rails. Turned side, center, and rear stretchers. Turned rear legs sharply raked. Remains of black varnish. Upholstered in colored wool needlepoint of large floral and animal designs.

Cast aluminum frame with four legs, with open strut support system. Frame coated with epoxy paint. Base of walnut with webbed support. Struts continue from legs up back of sofa to support two shaped walnut horizontal elements. Seat and back upholstered in leather with rectangular paneled cushions. Two rectangular horizontal arms with similar cushions.

Constructed of stack-laminated wood planks, carved and worked into a smooth body of organic form, bulbous on sides and curving in at center (roughly peanut-shaped); bisected along horizontal axis where lid, hinged at back, meets bottom of chest; bottom flows into base formed as tapering cylinder with domed foot; the lid with three up-curved projections at top center (central projection serves as grip to raise lid). Interior fitted with removable wooden housing for two stereo components: turntable on left, stereo/radio receiver on right; inset pierced with rows of circular holes in front of and behind receiver; black leather strap in center, one end attached to cavity of lid, the other attached to stereo housing.

Cabinet fronted by two large doors with brass lock plates that open to reveal twelve small interior drawers, each with brass pull, and one cupboard door with brass lock plate, all veneered with floral marquetry. Long narrow drawer in cornice molding on top. Stand has long narrow drawer with two brass pulls and one lock plate, supported by six scrolled legs with curved stretchers and bun feet with metal casters.

Top section has oval mirror at center, with two rows of six hooks either side; iron framework ornamented with molded and pierced oriental stylized leaf motifs, two dog-like figures at top corners, and turkey head top edge of mirror. Base has inset marble top, central drawer with projecting brass(?) knob. Removable trays lower sides with curved supporting rail above. Stretcher at base. Ironwork ornamented with stylized leaf patterns, as top section.
