Deep red velvet with offset repeat pattern of gold disks. The foundation is plain weave formed by a red silk warp and tan silk weft; the supplementary warp pile is red silk. The velvet pile is voided in the areas where the coin dots appear, and supplementary gold wefts are floated in pairs to the surface in these areas, bound in twill with the secondary ivory warp.

Mezzaro with a white ground printed in brilliant colors with a design adapted from Indian painted hangings. Central tree rises from a stylized mound, on which there are crudely rendered animals. Branches fill the entire length of the hanging along with large flowers, birds and butterflies. At left, a bamboo clump and palms, and at right, bamboo. Wide border in a design of flower baskets alternating with flower sprays, birds and butterflies.

Pattern of diagonal floral crosses alternating with rosettes; the crosses alternate direction with each row. With a geometric floral border at the top and bottom. Silk embroidery in counted stitches: double running, stem, and long-armed cross. Stitches using metallic yarn: chain and overcast loop.
