On light gray-green background, embossed in imitation of leather, large curving foliate pattern, vertically symmetrical along central palmette in brown, with gilded ornamental fill patterns, this palmette enframed in leafy S-curves. Three feathers of junctuire of two opposed S-curves. Scattered symmetrically, blue and white and orange-red and white flower with green leaves. At edges of length, halves of patterns which, joined, form vase of horn containing flowers.

Closely spaced small fans turned in different directions. They are decorated with flowers, stripes and lattice designs. Fans are the color of the ground: brownish-yellow; and the apparent ground of dark brown is actually a choke.

Random arrangement of adjoining geometric shapes - triangles and irregular polygons, each with a different embossed field. Some of the polygons have, in addition, further ornamentation in the form of decorated roundels, flowering stems, small dragons and cloud bands, respectively. Anglo-Japanesque design.

Small, closely set motifs of varying shapes and sizes ornamented with geometrical, floral and foliate designs. The ground color, a yellowish brown, is used for these motifs and the apparent ground color, a dark brown is actually a "choke."

Coffered effect formed by an enframed stylized plant form being repeated in horizontal rows, each row being separated from its neighboring row by horizontal ornamented bands. The rows are staggered and the direction of the plant forms in the compartments is reversed at tandom. Design shows German influence.
