This group highlights landscape studies by American artists, some of whom traveled extensively abroad. It features drawings and paintings spanning the middle of the nineteenth century through the first quarter of the twentieth, and features artists such as Frederick Edwin Church, Winslow Homer, Thomas Moran, and others.
