Prototype For A Table Runner

This is a Prototype for a table runner. It was designed by Sandy Chilewich. It is dated 2014 and we acquired it in 2015. Its medium is vinyl, acrylic and its technique is double cloth. It is a part of the Textiles department.

The edges of this table runner appear to emit light from within. This luminous effect is due to the transmission of light through the acrylic inserts, amplifying their florescence and seeming to glow.

This object was donated by Sandy Chilewich. It is credited Gift of Sandy Chilewich.
