Spoon with Flower Bowl Decoration Spoon
This is a spoon. It was made by Hans Henriksson Wettersten. It is dated ca. 1700 and we acquired it in 1903. Its medium is silver. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

" Swiss spoons, for example, had leaf-shaped bowls often carved in wood and fitted to silver handles. In Scandinavia, distinctive forms persisted well into the eighteenth century. (fig. 8)"
