Drawing, Elevation and Floor Plans of a Four-Room Two-Family House (“Maison 2 Logements de 4 Pièces A”), Type No. 2
A blueprint with a French title translating to 'house - 2 dwellings of 4 rooms.' The contruction specification was intended to be fit for two families sharing the same roof. It is drawn on a tracing paper with black ink and graphite. Beside the title, the text 'Type No. 2' is written. It shows three different sections and features of the house in detail. First on the right, we have a drawing titled 'Facade sur Jardin' translating to 'facade on garden' in English. The drawing is in two parts - one having a pointed roof making it taller and the other just a simple rectangle in shape. The facade features four windows in total. On the right, there are two smaller drawings drawn on top of the either. The upper drawing is titled 'Plan de L'Etage' which simply translates to 'floorplan.' There is an illustration of stairs and different pathways. Below it is another drawing in the same rectangular shape and size as the one above. It is titled 'Plan du Rez de Chaussee' which translates to 'ground floor plan.' It is drawn in detail with various instruction, text, shading, and measurements.
