Drawing, Two Elevations and Floor Plan of a Two Family Mass-Operational House (Type No. 5)
A construction plan drawn using black ink and graphite on tracing paper. It features three distinct illustrations, namely, a perspective illustration of the house, the facade, and a detailed floorplan. On the upper-right side of the drawing, the title 'Maison 2 Logements De 4 Pieces Type No. 5' is written. This translates to 'House - 2 Dwellings of Four Rooms Type No. 5.' On the left side is a detailed drawing of the house in perspective form giving a three-dimensional feeling from the right. A French text translating to 'perspective view and plan to scale of' appears on the right side of the drawing. The lower half of the blueprint has two drawings - the facade and the ground floor plan. Both of the drawings below are smaller in scale compared to the perspective drawing above them. On the left, the facade of the house is drawn in a two-dimensional but detailed manner. Beside the facade illustration is an elaborate drawing of the floor plan showing the entrances, rooms, and other features of the house. Text in French are written within the plan providing details about the floor in words.
