Teapot from "Talisman" Dessert Service Teapot, Designed 2000–2003, introduced 2004

This is a teapot. It was designed by Eva Zeisel and manufactured by Lomonosov Porcelain Factory. It is dated Designed 2000–2003, introduced 2004 and we acquired it in 2006. Its medium is porcelain. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

Zeisel collaborated with a number of ceramics manufacturers around the world. This white ovoid teapot with a fluted opening and delicately arched handle was manufactured in Russia by the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory (formerly the Imperial Porcelain Factory).

This object was donated by Peter Kahane. It is credited Gift of Peter Kahane.
