Fairest Reflective Sphere
This is a Fairest reflective sphere. It was designed by Michael Anastassiades.
This object is not part of the Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. It was able to spend time at the museum on loan from Michael Anastassiades as part of Beauty—Cooper Hewitt Design Triennial.
Referencing the queen’s mirror in Snow White, Fairest (2015) is a series of polished brass globes affixed to a wall almost like jewelry, intended to reflect the space around them.
It is credited Courtesy of Michael Anastassiades.
