Augusta and husband A. J. Dillon created wallpapers and home furnishings in their studio. They used floral and abstract patterns, machine and hand printed. Augusta attended Cooper Union and lived in College Point on Long Island. In 1926, she was awarded a New York University Summer Art School scholarship to Paris, along with first prize for one of her watercolors.
