Keith Sonnier

Born in Marmou, Louisiana in 1941. Education: University of Southwestern Louisiana, Lafayette 1959-63, BA 1963; travelled and studied in France 1963-63. Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey, 1965-66, MFA 1966. Recipient: Guggenheim Fellowship, 1974; First Prize Tokyo Prints Biennale, 1974
