German textile designer was a student at the Bauhaus Weaving Workshop 1921-1922. From 1927-1928 she operated an independent weaving studio at the Dessau Bauhaus, and studied with Klee and Kandinsky. From 1928-1943 she acted as director of the Handweaving and Embroidery Studio at the Folkwangschule, Essen. From 1943-1955 she taught at the Handweaving Studio in Bückeberg. She operated her own independent studio from 1955, and retired in 1960.
